Take a Look Inside...
We have two curriculum tracks that address the needs of different populations with which you may work, Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) or Individuals with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). Each curriculum track includes a Training Guide and Curriculum Manual.
Training Guides include an introduction to the program, a review of teaching strategies and learning modalities used in the curriculum, details participant recruitment strategies, an overview of the FDP training sessions, and explains how to engage support network members in the program.
The Curriculum Manuals for the I/DD and SED versions are the lesson plans for the program. Specific protocol for each of the 20 sessions delineates learning and behavioral objectives, materials needed, session activities, scripts for teaching each concept and skill, and community activities.
